Cost of Inkjet Greeting Cards

The cost per card section of our website has been updated. The page is a great resource that details the cost of a custom inkjet greeting card broken down by paper, ink, and envelope. As you will see, most of our papers come in at under $1.00 per card.

Printing your own greeting and note cards is a great way to share your work, thank clients, and market yourself. And now, when saving money is becoming more important, printing your cards is more affordable than store bought greetings.

Red River Introduces Pano Greeting Cards

In time for greeting card season, we’re pleased to introduce this cool new size. Unfolded, the pre-scored sheet is 8″ x 9″. When folded, the Pano Card is 9″ wide and 4″ tall so you can create truly unique custom cards with your pano or landscape images.

Turn the card vertically, and even more creative opportunities emerge. In the image above you can see the potential. Shoot for tall images, or use the Photoshop crop tool to make a vertical from an existing photo.

For now, Pano Cards come in 60lb. Premium Matte PLUS, a popular Red River Matte Paper with extra thickness.

DSLR photography, printing and imaging will be the focus of an eight-day workshop cruise embarking from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to St. Maarten, St. Lucia and St. Kitts, in the Southern Caribbean, March 29 -April 6, 2009.

The workshop, ninth in series, is limited to 20 attendees who will participate in lectures, hands-on demonstrations and critiquing sessions by four photo professionals in a relaxed learning environment. Each enrollee will also receive up to $1,000 in hardware and software.

Arthur H. Bleich and Steven Katzman, both award-winning professional photographers and published authors, will reveal the artistic and technical skills required to recognize and shoot unique and imaginative images. Ron Wolfe and Dan Loffler will demonstrate other professional techniques and do personal mentoring.

Workshop participants will also learn how to exhibit and market their work, print, mat and frame color and B&W images, create a web photo gallery and publish their own photo books. Also offered will be one-on-one Photoshop and Photoshop Elements sessions at individual skill levels.

Attendees who do not yet own DSLRs may borrow a state-of-the-art Pentax DSLR for use prior to and during the workshop, and a bank of Epson printers with a supply of various Red River Papers will be available round-the-clock in the ship’s high-tech conference room, from which full Internet service is available.
