From the Short on Words Blog:

Last year Red River Paper sent me a sample box of their gorgeous papers.  … I finally tried these papers.  And I. LOVED. them.

And here’s the super fabulous part of Red River Paper.  They make their ICC-profiles super-duper accessible.  Which makes it easy to make your printed product look like the image on your computer screen.

From the My Digital Art Studio blog:

Red River Paper is awesome!

I was so lucky to receive a inkjet printer sampler pack  from Red River Paper and oh boy is it gorgeous! They have over 30 different paper types and  am I going to be busy trying them all out! ;)

Well the first thing I just had to test was the 60lb. River Linen. It has this stunning Linen Texture…now what happens sometimes when you want that textured paper look for a project and you print it on your Bazzil Cardstock the print might not be as vibrant, not with this Paper. It prints out beautifully and looks absolutely stunning.

201007152322.jpgThe world of insects is often forgotten photographic territory. But, Scott Hussey, who took the image at left, said that when he started getting down to the level of of these live insects his photography was amazingly bad. However, through experimentation he has produced some striking images. And, he shares what he’s learned with readers. Hussey looks at lenses, light, magnification, auto-focus as well as how to restrict a subject’s movements so that the shot is right. No insects were hurt in Hussey’s photos.
